A deliberately minimal-data website.
This site has no visitor account, contact form, advertising pixel, marketing cookie, or visitor profile. It uses privacy-minimal first-party analytics to count guide visits and paid-link clicks.
What happens in your browser
- Guide-search text stays in the current browser tab.
- Measurement checklist selections are not sent to a server.
- A temporary browser-session flag prevents repeated session starts within one tab; no cookie is used.
- Daily aggregate counts may include guide, department, Pin campaign, and paid-link identifiers.
- No IP address, user-agent string, query text, checklist state, or visitor identifier is stored in the analytics table.
External paid links
Selected guides contain clearly disclosed links to Amazon.com. If you choose a paid link, your browser requests the Amazon destination and Amazon may process the request under its own privacy and cookie terms. This site does not automatically open Amazon. It records an anonymous aggregate paid-link click before the browser opens Amazon.com.
Hosting and security
The hosting and network providers may automatically process standard request information, such as IP address, browser details, requested page, and timestamps, to deliver and protect the site. Their handling is governed by their own service and privacy terms.
Messages sent to the published contact address are routed to the publisher’s inbox and may be retained there as needed to answer, document a correction, or maintain a business record. Do not email sensitive personal or financial information.
